They do this for a total of eight minutes before being ordered to get up and run to the sand dunes and completely cover their wet bodies with sand, then do it all over again. To remain qualified for the SEAL training Pipeline, the SEAL candidate must perform the 1 ½ mile run portion of the PST in Boots and Long Pants in 11:30 or less. * If you are at Recruit Training Center when you take this test, candidates will transition to Boots and Long Pants for the Run portion of the PST.
